Disney (at its best, at least) tries to make long legged films - classics that age well. If you try to do a film like this, and tie in-film fictional groups or movements to ones from the real world, you can date yourself, sometimes quite badly. What may be a divisive issue in one year may have faded away two decades later. By avoiding such a direct connection, you can make a more enduring work.Jrggrophttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01185184453708433012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7059293386881623259.post-8429908770853138012016-03-22T20:58:04.123-04:002016-03-22T20:58:04.123-04:00So, they did a racially-charged comedy by making i...So, they did a racially-charged comedy by making it about animals?Kithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01453591141757808708noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7059293386881623259.post-10707963493622020302016-03-22T18:38:11.885-04:002016-03-22T18:38:11.885-04:00It is an interesting way out of the issue. The resultant message is only offensive to ideologues who find the Golden Rule to be insufficient. tryanmaxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09881154741574720094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7059293386881623259.post-46923645247147272732016-03-22T17:27:01.808-04:002016-03-22T17:27:01.808-04:00tryanmax, Thanks for the review!
